UK checks start at just €1!  There are three types of UK checks now available.

€1 VRT Check   –   UK Vehicle Details, Import & Export Details, Environmental Details & Fuel Efficiency, Technical Details, UK MOT & Tax Details and a VRT Check

€2.50 VRT + Write-off Check   –   Same as the check above with the inclusion of a MIAFTR Write-off Check

€8 Full HPI UK Check   –   Includes all of the above plus a full Write-off Check, Stolen Check, Finance Check, Mileage Check plus much more

Add-ons

Cartell now offers additional services that can be added onto your check after you have purchased it.  You can add-on a CPG Valuation or CIG Statistics.  Both of these Add-ons are only €1 each. More details of these products can be found below.

Mileage readings

When a mileage discrepancy is found on your UK check, the previous readings will now be displayed automatically from the UK NMR. VRT Check

A Cartell UK Car Check now includes a VRT Check.  Simply by entering the UK registration and current mileage reading, you can determine the VRT cost for the vehicle.  In certain circumstances a VRT few options will be returned.  If this is the case please select the result which most closely matches the vehicle you are checking.  In order to obtain a VRT calculation, an accurate mileage is required.  Please note that the actual VRT to be paid will only be determined once the car is presented to the NCT center for importation.  Please see www.ros.ie/evrt-enquiry for more information about VRT.

CPG (Car Price Guide)

CPG Ireland is a new kind of car price guide that avoids bias and generates unique values for cars based on the advertisements placed on the leading Irish used car websites – including Carzone! Cartell has an exclusive arrangement with Carzone to utilise the adverts.  No other car valuation supplier in Ireland is licensed to use this data.  A CPG value is available as an Add-on for every Cartell UK report.  In order to obtain a CPG valuation, an accurate mileage must be entered.

CIG (Car Intelligience Guide)

CIG was developed in parallel with CPG valuations.  It is unique in that it allows vehicle retailers to understand levels of stock already in the market relative to demand.  It can predict the likely time a vehicle will typically take to retail.  CIG is based on Cartell’s market leading statistical solution Carstat, and will display the following:

• The number of the specific type of vehicle in the fleet

• The average owners of that type of vehicle for that year

• A comparative vehicle in each class

• The number of those vehicles sold YTD and as a percentage of that fleet

• The number of those vehicles sold last 3 months and as a percentage of that fleet

• Numbers sold within the trade

• Numbers sold privately

• If the model is being stocked or being sold – deriving a stock ratio

• Imports

• Average time to sell in trade
